Hence, the maximum imprisonment for this offense is 3 years and the minimum is 6 months with Rs. 5,000 as fine. The following has been stated: The fire safety audit and disability audit have to be conducted of all ESI Hospitals by any Government Institution and has directed to take necessary action for obtaining fire NOC in respect of ESIC establishments. It will be the responsibility of the Estate Officer / concerned authority to ensure all necessary actions are complete, all licenses obtained and all EST buildings are fire safety compliant.
