  Contents News/Article  Date : 27th  April   2023 Relating to which  Act : West Bengal State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings, and Employment Act, 1979 read with rule 12   Penalty under the Act: Monthly payment is required for registered employers. If any individual/company fails to do so, they would be liable to pay a 1% penalty per month on the due tax amount.
