Whereas the half yearly adjustment to the existing rates of Minimum wages in the scheduled employments in West Bengal is due to be made on 1/1/2022 on the average of consumer price index of industrial workers and of agricultural labourers. Whereas the minimum rates of wages and variable dearness allowance, both constitute the minimum rates of wages to be enforceable under the minimum wages act, 1948 This order shall come into force from 1/1/2022.
