The new SHe-Box Portal is a unique initiative of the Ministry of Women and Child Development to provide a publicly available centralised repository of information relating to Internal Committees and Local Committees formed across the country, whether in Government or Private Sector. The Portal also provides a common platform to file complaints and track the status of such complaints.

The POSH Act was enacted to protect women from sexual harassment and to provide a safe and secure work environment. The Supreme Court formulated guidelines making it mandatory for Organizations , whether working in the public or private sector to establish a mechanism to redress complaints of sexual harassment.
The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has come out with an Amnesty Scheme 2025 which has been approved in its 196th ESI Corporation Meeting held in Shimla , Himachal Pradesh , being effective from 1st October 2025 to 30th September 2026, thereby providing a structured mechanism for employers to settle legal disputes with ESIC outside the courts. As of March 2025, around 27,000 cases were pending in various courts.
