And in this instance : In exercise of the powers conferred on Central Government vide Notification No. S.O. 186 ( E ) dated 19th January 2017 of the Ministry of Labour & Employment , the Chief Labour Commissioner ( Central) New Delhi has revised the rates of variable dearness allowance on the basis of average consumer price index for industrial workers resulting in increase in DA for the employees employed in Agriculture, Mines, Construction, Loading and Unloading, Watch and Ward effective 1/4/2023
