And in this instance: The rate of VDA payable to the workmen employed through and by the contractors mentioned therein in respect of case which are not covered under the Minimum Wages Act 1948 and where the workmen employed by the contractors do not perform the same or similar nature of work as done by workers, directly employed by the principal employers of the establishment. The percentage of increase of CPI shown from the period July 2023 to December 2023 is found to be 2.69%.
