Govt notifies 7.1% interest rate on Deposit made under non-government PF, superannuation, and gratuity with effect from 1st July, 2022 to 30th September, 2022.
Revised GPF Interest Rate is applicable on the following funds-
- i)The General Provident Fund (Central Services);
- ii)The Contributory Provident Fund (India);
- iii)The All India Services Provident Fund;
- iv)The State Railway Provident Fund
- v) The General Provident Fund (Defence Services);
- vi)The Indian Ordnance Department Provident Fund;
- vii)The Indian Ordnance Factories Workmen’s Provident Fund;
- viii)The Indian Naval Dockyard Workmen‘s Provident Fund;
- ix)The Defence Services Officers Provident Fund; and
- x)The Armed Forces Personnel Provident Fund.

—It is hereby notified that the deposits made under the Special Deposit Scheme for Non-Government Provident, Superannuation, and Gratuity Funds, announced in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs) Notification No.F.16(1)-PD/75 dated 30th June 1975, shall with effect from 1st July 2022 to 30th September 2022 bear interest at 7.1% (seven points one percent).
