Telangana State - notice on ban on single-use plastic from 1st July 2022

V. The manufacture, import, stocking, distribution, sale, and use of the following Single Use Plastics including polystyrene and expanded polystyrene are commodities prohibited in Telangana with effect from 1 July 2022: a. Earbuds with plastic sticks

b. Plastic sticks for balloons
C. Plastic flags
d. Candy sticks
e. Ice-cream sticks
f. Polystyrene (Thermocol] for decoration
g. Plates, cups, glasses, cutlery such as forks, spoons, knives, straw, trays, wrapping or packing films around sweet boxes, Invitation cards, and cigarette packets.
h. Plastic or PVC banners less than 100 microns
i. Stirrers.
