The Government of Himachal Pradesh – Department of Labour and Employment , has extended the provision of the ESI Act to the classes of establishments specified in the schedule annexed hereto like Municipal bodies, etc. where ten or more persons on casual or contractual or both are employed , on any day in the preceding 12 months.

Also, the notification is followed by the Governor of Himachal Pradesh releasing the Order of the publication of awards of the respective cases announced by the Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Dharamshala under section 17 (1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.
