Draft amendment to Tamil Nadu Factories Rules, 1950
The Labour Welfare And Skill Development Department, Tamil Nadu on June 03, 2022, issued the Draft amendment to Tamil Nadu Factories Rules, 1950 to further amend the Tamil Nadu Factories Rules, 1950.
The following amendments have been made:
- Rule 63-B, which specifies First Aid, has been substituted, namely:
Persons who are in charge of the first-aid box shall be persons who possess the certificate granted by the Saint John’s Ambulance Association or Tamil Nadu Apex Skill Development Centre for Health Care for rendering first-aid.
