Conditions On Factories For Female Workers In Jharkhand
- The Government Of Jharkhand vide notification No.7/1003/2022-113 and pursuing notification released on 3rd February 2017 under Labour, Employment and Training Department has declared conditions on factories which direct working schedules for women workers.
- As per the notification, amended clauses 15, 20, and 23 of the conditions mentioned in the earlier notification require,
- (1) Occupier of the factory shall not employ less than five women workers under one batch
- (2) One Female Warden shall be allocated for supervision and help with welfare work
- (3) The strength of women in Supervisory Staff shall be one-fifth or at least two or more.
