In the current instance, the Ministry of Labour & Employment notifies that ESIC is allowed to perform Aadhaar authentication on a voluntary basis for identification of beneficiaries using the Yes or No option or e-KYC authentication facility for providing social security benefits including medical and cash benefits under the provisions of the ESI Act.
