And in this instance: Labour Commissioner, Odisha in the exercise of the powers delegated under various notifications hereby notifies that the variable dearness allowance (VDA) shall be payable to all categories of employees in all the 89 scheduled employments with effect from 1/4/2023 in addition to the minimum rate of wages and the total VDA already notified under various notifications.
The State Minimum Wages Advisory Board has advised adopting a system of revision of special allowance called Variable Dearness Allowance as per, the point rise in the Consumer Price Index Number for Industrial Workers.
