Relating to which Act: sub-section (1) of section 6 of the Maharashtra Private Security Guards (Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Act, 1981 (Mah. LVIII of 1981),
Penalty under the Act: 42. Penalties. – (1) Whoever contravenes the provisions of clause 13, 24(7), 25, 26, 27 or 28 shall on conviction be punished with imprisonment for a term of three months or with fine which may extend to rupees five hundred or with both, where such contravention is a first contravention; and with imprisonment for a term of six months or with fine which may extend to rupees one thousand or with both, where such contravention is any subsequent contravention.

And in this instance: Government of Maharashtra hereby establishes a Security Guards Board to be known as “Satara District Security Guards Board” for all classes of security guards in the areas of Satara District.
And whereas, in view of establishment of Satara District Security Guards Boards for the area of Satara District, it is necessary to amend the said Notification for excluding the area of Satara District from the jurisdiction of Sangli District Security Guards Boards;
Subject: Maharashtra Private Security Guards (Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Act, 1981 (Mah.LVIII of 1981), established Security Guards Boards for various districts including the Sangli District Security Guards Boards for the areas of Sangli, Satara and Solapur Districts;
