PF Pension 2022 – List of Admissible Documents

Relating to which Act: The Employees Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952;           

Penalty under the Act: Whoever, for the purpose of avoiding any payment to be made by himself under this Act [the Scheme, the [Pension] Scheme] or the Insurance Scheme] or of enabling any other person to avoid such payment knowingly makes or causes to be made any false statement or false representation shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine of five thousand rupees, or with both].

Applicable to which State: All the States and Establishments to be covered by these Acts 

Type: EPFO Head Office, Circular No. Pension / PoHW / 23 / Circular / 26 – 6 – 139610 / 1648 issued by Regional Provident Fund Commissioner – 1 (Pension)

Pertains to: PF registered establishments and members

Accordingly, only in case of applicants otherwise eligible for pension on higher wages as per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court judgment dated 04.11.2022, for scrutiny regarding Para 26(6), following procedure may be followed

Subject: Implementation of Hon’ble Supreme Court Judgement dated 04.11.2022 – Applications for Validation of Option / Joint Options Proof of joint option under 26(6) of the EPF Scheme, 1952 duly verified by the employer list of admissible documents-reg.
