Penalty under the Act: It is important for employers to understand the Apprentices Act 1961 and to ensure that they are in compliance with the Act. Failure to comply with the Apprentices Act 1961 can result in serious penalties, including fines, imprisonment, and/or the cancellation of the employer’s registration.

- This guideline supersedes all other guidelines issued under the previous version of the scheme.
