Relating to which Act:  The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act of 2013 (POSH Act),

Penalty under the Act: Failure to comply with this could lead to hefty penalties. Some of the provisions under the PoSH Law include: When the employer fails to constitute an Internal Committee or breaches provisions of this Act or any rules made thereunder, they shall be punishable with fine of fifty thousand rupees (INR 50,000).

Every Establishment needs POSH Training in order to create a harassment prevention policy for the Organization and the formation of the mandatory Internal Complaints Committee mentioned in the Act.  We also highlight how the external member of the Internal complaints committee needs to be appointed and the procedures thereon.

The most important thing is how to handle the various complaints and how to differentiate from screening of false complaints and also differentiate between acceptable behaviour and non-acceptable behaviour and also understand the roles and rights under the POSH Act.

From the feedback received, we have gathered that our POSH training has benefitted many Organization and its heads and its various senior level people thereby boosting the trust level of these senior from amongst the employees working at other middle and lower levels.
